One of the first production models from Mason. Premier grade with slight turn to head. Original paint. Hollow body slope breast. Professional repair at tip of tail as shown with photo of tape. Excellent swirl paint. Original glass eyes. Great Mason decoy. Circa 1890. Measurements: 18 inches length; 5 1/4 inches width; 6 1/2 inches height.

(Please see Pictures.) The bottom plate is missing so small holes where it use to be. I am unsure of age but do believe it to be older. Have not cleaned or repaired this item in anyway. This would make a great addition to your collection. It is approx. 6 3/4 inches tall, 17 1/4 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide at widest area. Good Condition. I got this at a Estate Sale. Pair Of Heck Whittington Pintail Drake Decoys 1972 Oglesby, Illinois River
Hector "Heck" Whittington Pair of Pintail Drake decoys 1972. He lived in Oglesby, Illinois. He began carving in 1924 and lived from 1907 to 1981. He was a Master Carver. His decoys have glass eyes. The decoys were in my father's decoy collection. He bought it from C. Moore, who was also a collector. The price on the bottom of each is what he paid in 1973. Most of Whittington's decoys were stamped with the date and his name. These have such a stamp on the bottom. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Up for auction is a really nice antique Pintail Hen Duck Decoy, I was told it dates to around 1915, but I am not sure, I brought it to a decoy show and a lot of guys wanted to buy it, I believe it could be quite scarce, upper mid-west origin I was told, the paint is really detailed, the neck is loose, you can see the wood plug in the breast area, 18 inches long from the tip of the beek to the end of the tail, about 5 inches across and 7 inches tall, if you know the maker let me know, Thank you for looking.
